Job Opening at the League
The Citizens League will be hiring a full time Program Associate. The deadline for resumes and cover letters is September 5. (See extended entry and announcement under "What's New" for details.)
This is certainly an opportunity for the League, but it comes at a cost -- the loss of Scott McMahon. Scott is leaving to go to pursue a Masters in Public Policy from the Humphrey Institute, and will also take an exciting research position with HHH working on renewable energy policy issues. Scott's work during his two-year tenure at the League has been consistently tremendous: a great writer, thinker, diplomat, and co-worker. His work on the energy committee couldn't be more timely!
