Thanks for a great Annual Meeting...
Our Annual Meeting was a big success!
Over 125 people attended the meeting and gave us their ideas for next year's policy topics and "positioning windows" for the League. A full report on the results of the "instant polls" will be available soon!
Amy Stenson, Madelaine Haddican, Tom Teigen and Dee Long received well-deserved Citizen Superstar awards for their tireless efforts to support and improve the League. They deserve all the applause they got at the meeting and all the congratulations you can offer now. We could not do what we do without the help we get from our volunteers.
Many thanks all the hard-working volunteers, big-thinking members and the generous sponsors who made the Annual Meeting such a terrific event.
And which current Citizens League Board member is a former Jeopardy! Champion? Dee Long, outgoing Board Chair and, as it turns out, member of the winning Citizens League Jeopardy! team, too.
