Get actively involved in building the Citizens League by joining the Membership and Engagement Committee or one of its working groups. We have work to do to reach our goal of 2250 members by the end of 2008!
We are organizing in several areas under the direction of the committee:Corporate Membership Working Group -- focused on strengthening corporate membership and involvement
Emerging Leaders Working Group -- organizing to boost recruiting of emerging leaders and young active citizens. A new set of quarterly networking and recruitment events will begin in late September.
Targeted Recruitment Campaigns -- organizing peer-to-peer recruitment and leveraging strategic opportunities
Programming and Events -- helping to define the business case for events, building standards around execution, and developing ideas for new programs and events
Membership Materials and Communications -- working with members of the Communications Committee to develop a new comprehensive package of membership materials that move an individual's awareness through recruitment and orientation and on to deeper engagement.
Member Engagement -- creating and communicating more opportunities for members to get involved in the Citizens League in meaningful ways.
