Study Committees

Since 1952, the Citizens League has engaged its members in a unique policy development process we call study committees. Study committees are made up of Citizens League members who get together to learn about, talk about, and make recommendations about an important public policy issue.

Current Study Committees

Water Policy Study Committee
The Water Policy Study Committee will begin meeting in late spring or early summer. Click on the title for more information and to apply.

Immigration and Higher Education Study Committee - Phase 2 (Solutions)
This committee is charged with developing recommendations to improve immigrant students' readiness for and success in higher education. It builds on the first phase, completed in 2006.


Past Study Committees

The Citizens League has conducted over 400 study committees. However, we have only recently begun to archive the work of those committees online.
